Dec. 03 'Breaking News' EARLY 'SOFT OPENING' SCHEDULED AT REVELSTOKE MOUNTAIN RESORT?
We are hearing that those with their skis tuned and their ears to the ground may be in for an early-season treat. The folks at Revelstoke Mountain Resort (www.revelstokemountainresort.com) are looking at unveiling our new ski area to locals a week early to establish if there are any 'kinks' in the system, and rid them if there are. With a 140cm base at the top and another 100cm predicted snowfall before this system currently with us ends, December 15 & 16 at Revelstoke Mountain Resort could be a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The Gondola is ready to go, with only the stringing of the cars on the cable remaining. The quad chair has been tested weeks ago. Let's hope this is one rumour that plays out!
